ESPN GAMEDAY
My second week at EP+CO and I’m flying to The Swamp to capture FL coeds homecoming-ing against Auburn. Why, you ask? Because it’s Gameday.
We did everything possible to keep up with ESPN’s favorite fall show. Got rowdy with stunts and bonkers games, captured ludicrous content, and made absolutely sure the interwebs knew where the game of the week was. It was exhausting. But believe me: no thing is more powerful than donning an ESPN badge on campus. Hello tailgate Stromboli, etc.
Below is a restrained sampler. Saturday-sized shout outs to our energizing clients and team.
…and even-if-possible-bigger ones to Ellen Page and Bee Reynolds. Because without them, the world wouldn’t have this…
…and for those who might be interested (hello mother), I played football in college. Offensive line, guard and tackle. All 6’5” and 300+ lbs of me. My shoulders were crap.
Our junior year, ESPN Gameday came to our little town for our little homecoming. They call it the “The Biggest Little Game in America.” Since 1884. It was an incredible experience. But viewers were so stinkin’ mad ESPN didn’t go to UGA that weekend. Especially, when folks say things like “play D3, because there’s no D4.” Click below if you care. If not, move right along.
Scrub a few seconds in. Yes, this is a VHS recording. I’m #75. And yes, we won. My favorite sign reads: “[someone’s child] is a virgin.” Smart kids. Smart signs.
